Pint Notes #11: Summer Country Spectacular

1 hour 10 mins - Published Fri, Jun 5, 2015 by Josh Wodarz and Rebecca Ruiz

It’s another episode of Half-Pints, Whole notes and Rebecca Ruiz and Josh Wodarz have apparently gone country. Yup. Indeed. This episode they talk about The HillBenders “Tommy: A Bluegrass Opry”, Willie Nelson & Merle Haggards “Django & Jimmie,” Pale Honey – who are not country at all, and Eilen Jewell. Plus, listen to Josh talk bad about EDM, while Rebecca defends it. And we’ve got some summer songs that are sticking in our head. For beers, Rebecca hit the clearance aisle and we have Rogue’s Mom Hefeweisen, and Alaskan Brewery’s Imperial Red Ale.

Pint Notes

Every two weeks, Becca and Josh get together in a seedy basement bar to sample and review a beer. At the same time, they'll discuss the newest music releases of the past two weeks. From lagers to pale ales to imperial stouts, and folk to hip hop to Norwegian death metal, they'll cover it all.
