Pint Notes #2: Walking through Alleys

44 mins - Published Fri, Jan 23, 2015 by Josh Wodarz and Rebecca Ruiz

This week, Becca and Josh talk about Summit Brewing’s “between seasons” seasonal, Frost Line Rye. Most importantly they talk about the anticipated reunion album by indie rock, riot grrl legends Sleater-Kinney, No Cities to Love. And boy, have they been waiting. They also run through the debut album by Joey BadA$$, the latest release by Belle & Sebastian, the self-titled album by Viet Cong, the new album by The Decemberists and finally, they go over Marilyn Manson’s latest album. Words were said, disagreements were had. In fact, they only agreed on one album. Find out which. It won’t take long.

Pint Notes

Every two weeks, Becca and Josh get together in a seedy basement bar to sample and review a beer. At the same time, they'll discuss the newest music releases of the past two weeks. From lagers to pale ales to imperial stouts, and folk to hip hop to Norwegian death metal, they'll cover it all.
