Pint Notes #27: The Furnace

1 hour 8 mins - Published Thu, Feb 11, 2016 by Josh Wodarz and Rebecca Ruiz

Sorry, but Half-Pints, Whole-Notes has a guest this week. We’re calling it the Hell Furnace. You’ll be able to tune him out just like we did, chiefly by drinking beer and listening to music.

This week we have beers from podcast favorite brewers Sierra Nevada and Bent Paddle. For albums, we go through a slew of singer-songwriters: Shirlette Ammons, Walter Martin, Aubrie Sellers, and Anya Marina. Plus quick takes on The Lemons, GoGo Penguin, The Crookes, and Abi Reimold.

So; join Rebecca Ruiz and Josh Wodarz for another Half-Pints, Whole-Notes where they pretty much like everything. They want you to like everything, too.

Pint Notes

Every two weeks, Becca and Josh get together in a seedy basement bar to sample and review a beer. At the same time, they'll discuss the newest music releases of the past two weeks. From lagers to pale ales to imperial stouts, and folk to hip hop to Norwegian death metal, they'll cover it all.
