A day late, Jack and Breki meet up and record another episode of Geek Positive!

We’re a day late and compensate by having ALL the topics to talk about! Starting today, you can discover more interactive experiences inside any Tweet, Sweden’s @sweden social media marketing ploy goes horribly wrong, Neill Blomkamp’s new movie Elysium finally has a synopsis, Google, Twitter and Facebook give their names and efforts to a non-profit campaign aimed at taking action against bad ads, a new mobile app coming that will allow users to withdraw money at ATMs using only their phone, a new HTML error code suggested: “451 – Unavailable due to legal reasons”. In honor of Fahrenheit 451. The head of George Bush appears in Game of Thrones, the first footage from Life of Pi is shown and the Civilization V expansion looks amazing.

Also, don’t forget to watch Red Letter Media’s commentary on Prometheus.

Our musical feature was Felicia Day and Jason Charles Miller, with their track named Gamer Girl, Country Boy.

Find us at @BrekiT and @Tofu_Jack and the show’s own Twitter; @Geek_Positive; we’ll be back in a couple of days! Also, remember to join the CSICON Network on Reddit! We’re at /r/CSICON.

Instanews was another one of Breki's attempts to create a tech news podcast in the long chain of iterative podcasts that includes Geek Positive, CSICON Radio, The Brainstorm and Geekdays. It ran for 129 episodes, initially co-hosted by Jack Marshall and, in the final run of episodes, by Teppo Tastic.

Both Petter Mårtensson and Arkenor Oakshadow featured as regular guests for a segment known as The Deathmatch of Death and More Death, a ladder-style competition that pit heroes and villains from popular culture against each other. Petter and Arkenor would argue the case for their randomly picked hero of the week, and listeners would vote via the website.

If you want to get in touch with the people behind the episode or talk to others who like it, feel free to join the CSICONauts chat room. Alternatively, you can find some of this episode's hosts and/or guests on Twitter: Breki Tomasson and Jack Marshall.
