In July of 1980, Roger Ebert felt he had seen enough movies to qualify his review for The Blue Lagoon by stating that “”The Blue Lagoon is the dumbest movie of the year”, and in this week’s episode, the gang find it quite hard to argue against that assessment – and to his observation that, quote, “every third shot in this movie seems to be showing a parrot’s reaction to something”.

Movieing On

Movieing On was a project that we've wanted to do for a long time, and the pieces all fell together in March of 2012, when we began planning the first episode. Featuring some of the CSICON crew's most amazing people, we watch a movie from 1999 or earlier and discuss it.

If you want to get in touch with the people behind the episode or talk to others who like it, feel free to join the CSICONauts chat room. Alternatively, you can find some of this episode's hosts and/or guests on Twitter: Breki Tomasson, Linnea Kleiner and Nancy Frye.
