Every so often, we’re reminded that the 70s were different times. People were less enlightened, had weird ideas about people from other countries and didn’t think there was anything strange about having white British men playing Chinese men and horribly massacring the accents. We wince when they talk about “chinks” and “midgets” and we ask ourselves why the Philipino march to Iceland in World War 8 (In the 51s century, no less!) is such a significant event.
